Obligations for buyers using GaijinMall to browse, purchase, and interact with sellers. Buyers must follow this policy and applicable Japanese law.
This Buyer Responsibility Policy sets out the obligations of buyers on GaijinMall. By creating an account or making purchases, buyers agree to comply with this Policy, the Terms of Service, and applicable laws in Japan.
1. Accuracy of Information
- Provide truthful and complete information when registering, purchasing, or communicating with sellers.
- Keep delivery address, contact details, and payment information accurate and up to date.
2. Verification of Listings
Buyers should review and verify items before purchase. GaijinMall does not guarantee quality, legality, or performance of listings. Check descriptions, photos, and seller ratings carefully.
3. Payments
- Ensure sufficient funds and use valid GaijinMall payment methods.
- Unauthorized or fraudulent payments and chargebacks are prohibited.
- Buyers are responsible for bank/transfer fees incurred when paying through GaijinMall.
- Timely Transfer: Complete bank transfers promptly after placing an order following checkout instructions.
- Proof of Payment: Buyers may be asked to provide receipts or transaction numbers to confirm payment.
- Non-Payment Consequences: Repeated failure to pay may result in suspension or restriction; unpaid orders may be canceled.
- Responsibility: Ensure payments are made correctly and to the correct account details provided by GaijinMall.
4. Communication with Sellers
- Maintain respectful, professional communication via GaijinMall messaging.
- Use messaging for questions, negotiations, and resolution; avoid bypassing the platform for transactions.
- Harassment, abuse, or attempts to circumvent GaijinMall’s systems are prohibited.
5. Receipt of Goods and Services
- Confirm receipt of items promptly after delivery.
- Failure to acknowledge delivery may delay seller payouts.
- Raise disputes for undelivered or defective items through GaijinMall’s dispute process.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Buyers may not purchase items banned under the Prohibited Items Policy or engage in fraud, money laundering, or rating manipulation. System abuse is not allowed.
7. Responsibility for Disputes
Buyers should address disputes with sellers in good faith. GaijinMall may offer dispute tools but is not liable for outcomes.
8. Legal & Financial Liability
Buyers are responsible for their purchases and actions and agree to indemnify GaijinMall (Spyroxx Company Limited) from claims or damages arising from their activity.
9. Enforcement
GaijinMall may suspend, restrict, or terminate buyer accounts for policy or Terms violations. Severe or repeated violations may lead to permanent bans.
10. Acknowledgement
By using GaijinMall, buyers acknowledge and accept this Policy and accept responsibility for their purchasing decisions, payments, and conduct on the platform.
GaijinMall is operated by Spyroxx Company Limited, Tokyo, Japan. GaijinMall provides digital infrastructure but does not act as buyer, seller, agent, or guarantor. Accountability rests with individual buyers and sellers.
